Welcome to the much-anticipated Startup Event 2024! We are excited to invite you to a premier startup event showcasing top Korean startups selected from the Global Business Expansion Contest (GBEC)program, which are planning to expand their business into Europe. The GBEC London Startup Day will be held on September 3rd.
AWS Startup Group has been running the Go-To-Market program for startups over the past three years, in collaboration with the Korea Development Bank (one of the largest LPs in Korea) and KITA (The Korea International Trade Association). As part of this program, we are visiting London and Paris with the top 10 Korean startups from We would love to invite your VC to join us for two key events:
Startup Roundtable (September 3rd, London): This roundtable will allow top European VCs and CVCs to share insights and network with the 10 participating startups. We would be honored if you or other experts from your team could join us for a 30-40 minute session. This is a unique opportunity to meet and network with some of the best startups from Asia. Background
In collaboration with the Korea Development Bank (KDB), one of the largest government-backed banks and LPs in Korea, we have co-organized and sponsored the Global Business Expansion Contest (GBEC), a prominent startup overseas expansion program. Following successful initiatives in the United States (2022) and Asia (Japan, Singapore) in 2023, this year we are focusing on helping startups expand into Europe. This year marks our first initiative to support business expansion in Europe.
